Timestamp Generation Rule

The Timestamp generation rule produces timestamps (including date and time parts) formatted values using a reference timestamp and offsets provided by a source field.

This generation rule is appropriate to produce a sequence of date distributed allong a period of time.

Offset are provided in [+|-]%H:%M:%S format using a minus sign to generate timestamps before the reference timestamp.


The offset value used for each value to generate is provided by a child generator allowing any kind of offset distribution during the generation.

The mandatory format of the reference timestamp is YYYY/MM/dd HH:mm:ss

But the format used to produce timestamps is configurable. You can use a combination of sign from the table below.
